Quoting "P. J. Alling" <[email protected]>:

Hey, it's just an extension of the hunter gatherer mentality, the author likes to augment his diet with wild foods therefor it's all right to augment his web site with photographs of wild foods no matter the source. You just have to understand where he's comin' from.

Ah - I see....

Actually he/she removed the photo - didn't contact me at all about it. The interesting thing is that the image source URLs for the remaining 9 images have now magically appeared beneath each image. But I'm willing to bet that the owners of those photos weren't contacted about using the images.

Interestingly my comment on the article is still "awaiting moderation".

Cheers

It's not of much interest to anyone here (unless, like me, you're interested in Australian flora), but the second image caught my eye - especially as it's mine!

It's not a great image by any means (it was used to illustrate an article on a web site I maintain).

Here's a comment I posted....

"Hi

Interesting article. More so for me when I note you have used my Pig Face photo (it's Carpobrotus by the way, not Carpobrutus. And it's rossii not glaucescens.

Here's the link to the original source.

Oh - and our copyright info:
