I think this one is sad/funny assuming the writer was not talking about
themselves, then its just sad.
I think we have all have had these projects that fail. I know I have
several spots that never turn out and some that seldom disappoint.

This is sort of a companion piece to Air Conditioned that I posted the
other day. I took dozens of photos of this old motel which is in the
early stages of demolition, thinking it might be an interesting
series. I looked at the photos and realized I was wrong - they
weren't interesting at all - at least not as a series.
But this bit of graffiti on the back wall of the old motel interested me:
