I am pretty sure that there were squatters in the abandoned rooms. Maybe 
they're still there at night (I decided to not enter open doorways). 

The thought occurred to me that the graffiti is the motel "talking". Which is 
fine.

However if that message echos the feeling of a female in the area (perhaps a 
squatter) then it's a very sad statement indeed.

I don't see the photos I took as a failure. They just didn't turn out the way I 
thought they might. I did end up with a few individual photos which work for 
me, and I'm okay with that.

I think this one is sad/funny assuming the writer was not talking about 
themselves, then its just sad.

I think we have all have had these projects that fail. I know I have 
several spots that never turn out and some that seldom disappoint.
