Thanks, Kenneth. You wouldn't believe all the barns I've got to work with, all in varying stages of collapse and decay. One of these days, I'll get out and do a whole set of barn images. There are probably a dozen within a short bike ride from my house.

But for the extremely sunny conditions, it was the perfect day to get out on a photowalk. So, for the first time since winter kicked in, I decided to take the K-x and K1000D out, fitted with the A 50/1.7 and the Promaster 70-300/4.5-5.6 respectively, and put them through the paces.
