Today while at Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Art Museum I was using the SMC Pentax FA 28-80 3.5-5.6 and something odd was happening. I would be at 28mm it would not focus at a distance but when I would move it more toward the 80mm mark it would then focus. I am not sure if something is going wrong with the lens or what the deal was with it today. Anything close up it would be okay at 28mm but when focusing several feet or more away it wouldn't focus correctly.
