Thanks, Miserere.

I would've liked to get out and photographed a lot of scantily clad lasses and inebriated revelers, but I didn't really have the money to get out on the town, and didn't want to risk having a hangover when I went in to work yesterday. So, I played it safe -- against every Irish fiber in my being.

I did expect some beer, etc in this GESO, but I'm still glad I clicked
to see it.

Hi all,

Rather than hang out with friends and drink beer today, I decided to take
the K-x out for a stroll. I actually used something besides my A-50/1.7 or K
50/1.4, believe it or not. This time, I used my crusty old Tokina SZ-X
28-200 f/3.5-5.3. I really don't know why I don't use it more often. As far
as I'm concerned, it's one hell of a lens -- a much better performer than
any of my auto-focus zooms.

I even got a shot of some fungi for Larry.

As usual, comments, suggestions and critiques are heartily encouraged.
