The 645 allows for preloading film inserts for rapid film changes. The 6x7 has interchangable viewfinders, and a much larger negative. The 645 has a weenie little negative. The 645 gets 15 (or 16) exposures on a roll of 120 film, with its weenie little negative. The 6x7 with it's brawny large negative gets 10 exposures. The 645 is much smaller, sort of like a 35mm replacement camera. The 6x7 is a man sized camera, with a much larger negative. The 645 has a bunch of exposure automation, much like a 35mm camera. The 6x7, being a manly camera, eschews all that, in favour of allowing the photographer to "do it himself". When it comes time to go printing, the 6x7, with is nice large negative, is oriented the right way on the film. The 645 negative is small, and sideways.
