This is a small thing, but has anyone else noticed that the A design, rear lens caps don't hold up as well over time as the old K versions. I have a number of both, and just about all of the A versions have become so loose that they fall off in a photo bag, sometimes they fall off when I pick a lens off the shelf. The K version, which unfortunately doesn't protect the A contacts seems to last a whole lot longer. In fact I've even had a couple of A rear lens caps simply break apart. This wouldn't be so bad except that they are no longer supplied with most lenses, The last couple of new lenses I bought came with the cheap push on soft plastic caps that used to be reserved for the Takumar Bayonet third tier lenses. I had to pay extra for the A bayonet version and they're just crap.

Well that's it I just had to rant. I spent the last 15 minutes trying to find three good A rear lens caps that wouldn't fall off the lenses I plan on taking with me tomorrow.

and in conclusion I'd just like to say... You kids get off my lawn!

Don't lose heart! They might want to cut it out, and they'll want to avoid a
lengthily search.
