I actually like the tonality of this one the best; the trunk of the tree seems to have a good luminosity as it emerges from deep shadow. I'd like to see the same tonality brought to Walt's crop. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/6859015704/in/set-72157629275228340 If the patterns on the trunk are the focus of the image, then this version shows them best, and I like that. But on the whole I prefer the glow and texture of the B&W versions.
