I get a runny nose when I eat spicy food (riddle me THAT,
creationists!) so I tend to stick with medium hot. Enough tasty burn
without the need for the fire extinguisher :-)

Went to dinner at a local Thai restaurant. I've finally convinced them that
yes, I do like it spicy. I ordered my dish at a heat level of 8, and they
actually got it that hot. I was amused by the way it was served:

I thought it would come with a fire extinguisher on the side...
I did get a second glass of Thai iced tea. It was spicy enough to give me
hiccups.
I prefer to have a meal with a mixture of very spicy, and not very spicy
dishes. But Zab is a bit of a spice wimp (at least by geek standards), so she
got her dish and I got mine.
