Hi all,
Well, it was a rainy most of the day, so I didn't stray too far from the
front porch. I did manage to get in a few shots during the breaks, and
took advantage of the alcove I used to sit in for my bird photos until a
storm blew down the tree that I used for the backdrop. Seems there's a
blockage in the gutter that causes the water to spill over the side,
creating some neat patterns in the falling water when the rain gets
particularly heavy. I used a combination of the K-x, the A-50/1.7 and my
Promaster 70-300 to get a mix of shots.
Here they be:

Unfortunately, I forgot to set my white balance and didn't change out to
my 18-55 kit lens before shooting the last two shots. So, they're not as
good as I'd hoped they'd be. Also, I was shooting in a hurry, so they
just didn't turn out as well as I'd have liked them to. It really was a
beautiful sight at the time, but you really had to be there.
Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions you may have.
