Hi. I am lucky enough to have both K-7, K-5 and one battery grip. I have noticed that when K-5 says the battery (six NiMH AA batteries) is empty and won't even power on, my K-7 can still use these batteries for a long time before needing charging.
After a fresh re-charge, I am probably able to get 50 images out of them on my K-5. I have tried old Eneloops, new Eneloops and new Vartas and it's the same. What is your experience with NiMH batteries on K-5? Should it really be a lot worse than K-7?
