One further comment. I liked how he had a photo of a hand going into a
computer monitor holding a Windows info box saying "This was made
without Photoshop" or something to that effect. Yeah, he used Gimp!
It's a bit disingenuous to promise people they can do stuff without
Photoshop only to later inform them (once they've purchased your book)
they have to learn an even less intuitive software program.
I read that more as "You can do this without having to spend $600."
I don't think the difficulty of figuring out how to use Photoshop is as
big a barrier as the price for most people.
