Thanks, JC.

Yeah, that occurred to me a few minutes ago, given the results I've sometimes gotten from Walmart. I've had photos printed there that bore only the slightest resemblance to the ones I uploaded, and I suppose that could happen just about anywhere you get them.

If youre going to use a third party for prints, I would

In all honesty, it's because I'm as broke as the Ten Commandments. I'm
in a bit of a catch-22 where I can't afford to do my own prints unless I
sell enough prints to be able to do them. It's going to be hand-to-mouth
for the foreseeable future, so I'm forced to do things in the least
affordable way in order to have any hope of ever being able to do it
affordably.

But, if I ever do get to that point, I'll be sure to look into those
options. But, for the time being, it's beyond my grasp until I can claw
my way within reach.

If you've got a Costco nearby, you might look into a membership. Their
photo-lab is reasonably good. I use them pretty much for anything
12x18 or smaller.

As far as pricing, the school solution where I went to school was a
print sells for at least 4 to 7 times your cost, otherwise you're
losing money.

Thanks, John.

The pricing is what I'm most curious about. I figure I can go with the
low end of the scale starting out, and limit my prints to a fairly small
size for the time being. I doubt I'll do many prints that are very much
larger than 8x10 for now. If I can order from an online printing service
with a good price/quality reputation and have them shipped directly to
the buyer, I'll be happy. I'm not quite ready to start doing
gallery-quality prints, but I'd like to be able to offer nice photos for
people who may be interested in buying a print of any of my photos that
they happen to see.

It all boils down to the fact that I'm going to have to crawl before I
can walk. It's going to take a little time, but I'm OK with that.

Thanks again for the input!
