I'm not seeing any of that behavior either.
I'm on Firefox 3.6.6 and I don't have a membership on photo.net

I have never seen that behavior on Photo.net. ? I find it very easy
to use, and with Chrome, it loads quite rapidly compared to picasa
and other sites.
