Well, I think my idea won't work. Turns out my friend has a relatively
new iMac and I'm pretty sure it's a LED backlit display. Whatever
calibrator she gets must work with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion *and* LED
backlight.

According to http://spyder.datacolor.com/support-osx-lion.php only the
latest gen Spyders work with LED backlights.

Soooooo... sorry, I guess cheap ain't going to cut it.
