I'm thinking about getting Pentax's GPS unit for my upcoming trip, but I'm wondering how unwieldy it is on the K-5. Specifically, how much weight it adds and how big it is in relation to the camera itself. I'm trying to pack light, but it'd sure be nice to not have to keep a written record of my shooting locations all the time.
Also, does it communicate its data through the hotshoe, or does it need some sort of wired connection (like, via the USB port on the camera)? Thanks!
