We used to have a very good restaurant in our area that was housed in
an old country estate. Behind the main building were several huge dog
houses. The owners would occasionally admit one of their fleet of St
Bernard dogs into the main dining room to greet the guests. The dogs
were very well behaved, but I know that could never happen today.
Back then, it was part of the charm of a fine restaurant in the
country.
