A nice idea.

I have got a problem focusing my enlarger (Magnifax IV) even when
using normal enlarging position and maximum magnification (it's about
80cm high I think), I can barely see into the loupe and extend my arm
at the same time. They (Meopta) make a rather short (0.5m IIRC)
extension cord for focusing, which is a bovden type of wire with knob
on the end. I would have prefered a fixed wire system like in the one
enlarger that has got both knobs at the front of baseboard (Durst?
Besseler? god knows which one), one for focus second for extension.
Really neat! Now I will have to stick with shorter lenses or using the
bovden (which is relatively expensive) or the assistant :) Bad think
(or good?) is that my darkroom is already very cramped and small...

Good light,
