Hi Tom, it does matter, if you wear glasses and want to make or buy a diopter eyepiece addon. Then, you must take into account the inherent diopter of the viewfinder when selecting the correct correction lens. As some people prefer having the correction lenses made exactly to their specs (1/3 D) than buying Pentax's (in whole D steps only IIRC), it's rather important to know beforehand you order it at the optometrist.
