I've been reading a book on the (American) civil war and last night noticed a photograph of Ulysses S. Grand taken in a studio with one of those head clamps in the background. I'm guessing the emulsion the photographer was using was sensitive enough not to require the use of such a device but that they were still common in studios at the time. -- Mark Roberts - Photography & Multimedia www.robertstech.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
