Hi Boris, actually I did once learn a bit of Russian. My first proper job was working at the British Library and since I had several languages already they decided I should learn some Russian so that they could set me to work in the pre-1960 Russian technical literature gulag, so I learned elementary Russian. Of course, I've forgotten it all since then, although I can still read the alphabet and recognise certain words. I also learned at school that French was the language of the Russian upper classes so influenced Russian. Salut! Господин Боб (see, I know what Боб means in Russian) p.s. don't get Ch'ti confused with French - you may upset them both! :o) -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
