It would help if you include some context in your reply :) I get all confused wondering what you are talking about.
Its saying "URL or Link" which made me wonder about the intent of the rules. I dont think one can have a link without a url inside it but legal language is known to say the same thing multiple ways. IMO, ebay is more concerned about people using their listings to promote off ebay sales. So if i typed in, "u can see my private store at wwwDOTsomethingDOTcom" is that a link ? Technically as http links are defined, i dont think so. But ebay wont be happy with that. On the other hand, if i say "hey look, i look like a honest decent person: here is my pic... " and include an img tag, it is techinically a link which does nothing to describe the thing being sold but i can bet ebay wont pursue it as a breach. Then there is a question of what is regarded as the listing: what the html text looks like or how it looks after it is rendered by the browser. anyways, enough blabbering from me.
