Mark, May do some potraiture with my sister-in-law and wife's cousin in the Japanese garden near home. Will use the LX and 85mm f1.4. Also the Spottie and 105mm f2.8.
Actually, I don't have any St. Pat's plans. Strange how I rarely do (being named Brendan Patrick MacRae). St. Brendan was really the more interesting Saint you know...supposedly sailed to Nova Scotia in a leather huled boat. Well, that's the story anyway... I actually did most of my "weekend" shooting last night. A friends' band was playing in San Francisco so I went to shoot them with the LX and the Spottie. I found a photo shop that was selling some really nice screw gear yesterday afternoon. I went in only to pick up some Portra 800 and Tri-X and came out with an SMCT 35mm f2 (near mint) in the original case and original hood...$80. So, I used that at the gig! If anyone's interested, the same shop has a user LX with hot shoe finder and manual (no strap, SN 53xxxx, roller) for $389. A decent price, but it's a tad beat up.
