Great light. These birds, while quite beautiful, are starting to compete with the canada goose for flying-rat honors. Some towns in Michigan and the DOE are considering muted swan eradication programs. Apparently they're driving out the native Trumpeter swans and have become aggressively territorial, sometimes attacking children who get to close.
