Thanks, Mark! It was just near the end of the "golden hour", those few minutes when the light is at its best. I had all but given up getting even one keeper when I saw the swans close to the shore. They spent 3/4 of the time with their heads under water, feeding, so when they came up for air I had to act fast. Of the ten or twelve frames I took, that one worked.
