My father-in-law spent 6 months in Afghanistan as part of the NZ Provincial Reconstruction Team a few years ago. He came back with some amazing photos. I'd love to go there when things settle down. He said the dust gets into everything and you just can't avoid it. You can minimise it but you can't eliminate it.
