Igor, consider this. It turns out that Office 2010 won't install on WinXP 64bit. So imagine my frustration. Ultimately my brother and I were able to wrestle it into installing, but it was no fun. And it is most basic package for most well known OS both being from the same vendor (expletives omitted)...

I can feel your frustration.

Boris

I just discovered that LR4 will not install on WinXP.
What a bummer! It means it won't install on my current desktop, and
it won't install on my wife's netbook.

But what I was pissed off much more is the spin that some people gave on
this decision. One of them is Mr. Scott Kelby, editor and publisher of
Photoshop User Magazine:

I understand what drives such decisions from the technical side. I just
hate when people are trying to tell me that it is for my own benefit.
Let me decide what is, and what is not...
Afterall, we have different incentives.

Oh, well...
