Snaps be buggered, Bob. Those are some of the best pictures I've seen for getting across the combination of the spectacle of a worldwide event and the atmosphere of joy and involvement from the local community. As others have said, the dog photograph is outstanding (and the light at that hour doesn't hurt, either). But there are another half a dozen shots there I'd be proud to have discovered when I had time for a review. In particular I like the second shot of the handover - not only a perfect documentary shot, but also capturing the personal side of things. That's also true of the shot of the young torchbearer (and his family, I assume). Then there's the crowd all looking up the street in anticipation, and the final shot as the torch passes on. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
