        Yup, seems so - I find IR a nice reprieve from EV hassling.
        You can just concentrate on framing & scene elements and
        all that - just fire away and end up w/ really cool photographs
        if your "IR Visioning Sense" is good. It's almost "too easy",
        and I suspect that may be part of the aura of mystery most folks
        try to "conquer" w/ techno-metering schemes. Trying to control
        the uncontrolable factors which their senses can't percieve
        under the illusion that their sophistcated equipment and methods
        actually can!  IMHO, their determinations made through complicated
        measurements and adjustments just bring them right back to the
        same simple f11@1/125th EV equivalent - but they're able to tell
        what color the back of the barn is painted!  -  HAR! ; indeed  :^)
