Cutting to the chase, when the Samsung Galaxy S3 works, it's awesome, but it
has some very annoying glitches.

I just moved from a Blackberry 9550 to a Galaxy S3. Seriously, it was like switching from a Stanley Steamer to a Maserati. Fortunately, I suppose, I'm not so geeky as to be bothered by any glitches that the thing might have, I just revel in being able to tell it what company I want to fins and having it give driving directions, my wife says the call quality compared to my Blackberry is like comparing 2 tin cans and a string (the Blackberry) to a real telephone.
And Angry Birds is a remarkably addictive little game.
My Blackberry is a touch screen only, but had to be "pressed to click" to make it work, the new screen is a very sensitive touch screen. It is taking a bit of getting used to. I don't like the push ads, I've found they come along for the ride with some of the free apps. I think if you want rid of the ads, choose apps that you have to pay for.
