this was like reading restaurant reviews in a town i'll never visit, interesting in the abstract and for the local vernacular
the way Apple is going, i could see a day when i don't have an iPhone (or a Mac) but by then Android and other options will have changed quite a bit too (i hope)
i came from Palm too, but never had a Treo (came close a few times), and was fluent with Graffiti 1, disliked its replacement, but now do well with iPhone keyboard
even when i have my camera with me, i take photos with my phone all the time, often for note-taking (Evernote, also on Android, is great for photo notes), but also for trying out photographic ideas and short videos
