What with all the dope stuff and having all his Tour de France titles
stripped from him and all, times are a bit lean (big legal bills to
clean up). So Lance called up an old sponsor to see if they had
anything for him.

They found the perfect job for him:

that's his old gig !- riding for the US Postal Service team, except it appears he's had a demotion

I should say that I am really bummed about the whole Lance thing.

it brings down the whole sport, but oddly road cycling is on the up here in US — USA Pro Challenge just concluded yesterday here in Denver; huge crowds all over the state for every stage; downtown was

I don't understand how the US doping agency think they can strip him of his
TdF titles, which have got fuck all to do with them.

the procession of the matter through various organizations hasn't finished

As far as I understand
it he has never failed a dope test and should be treated as innocent until
proven guilty.

he's basically pleaded no contest, which amounts to a guilty plea with a shred of dignity preserved

Apparently several of his former team mates are prepared to testify against
him, but one wonders why now?

i think the truth didn't change, just the conditions for expressing it
