I'm glad that somebody brought that up. "Sharpness" is the combined
effect of edge contrast (acutance) and resolution. But that won't stop
people who are incapable of critical thought and unable to look,
comprehend, and analysis the visual elements that make up a photograph
from opining at great lengths about subjective impressions like
"sharpness"...
I almost composed a rant about this but dammit, I'm committed to being
mellow.
