Ah - now I'm not jealous anymore...
Took Ferry from Haines to PRince Rupert - a three night trip, In June
1992. I really didn't want to do a ship ride of that duration but it
was on Richard's bucket list and since the bucket was likely to get
kicked solidly within a year or less (as it was) I did it.
We had a storm in the middle of the night on the 19th - I was terrified
- then I got better and Richard got sick.
Didn't get off the boat in Juneau as we were there at 4 am. But did
at Sitka, Petersburg, Wrangle and Ketchican. Wrangle was my favorite of
those stops... Ketchican was depressing - clearcut slopes surround it..
I think sometimes later they had serious mud slides.
Make it the Georges and the Alcan for me - but looking forward to you
other photos.

long carrying 62 passengers. We boarded the ship in Juneau, stopped for
a few hours in Petersburg and left the ship in Sitka. They offered
kayaks for individual exploring and had six Zodiaks used to get us
ashore for hikes and from which we did photography.
They did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them to someone
interested in the Inside Passage.
