To clarify: Imagine a "+" sign. With a lens exhibiting significant
astigmatism you could get the horizontal bar of the "+" in focus but
not the vertical bar. Or you could get the vertical bar in focus but
not the horizontal. If your eyes have astigmatism that means your
glasses or contact lenses cost extra. :)
