I've got the 165/2.8,   It's sharp and easy to focus, unlike the 200/f4.  I've got the 
extension tubes, but for tight portraits I'd like to try the 2x converter and/or the 
300/f4, as head and shoulder shots at three feet don't always look great.  the 165 
gives you a "loose" head and shoulders, which is fine in the 6x7 format.
