I looked at only a few of the photos, they are too large for my screen
without much scrolling and so they are a pain to view. But I think I saw
enough to add one additional comment I don't think has been made:
In my humble opinion, the model needs lessons in how to dress and use
make-up. Yes, it is her portfolio, not yours, but you have a major obstacle
to overcome if she doesn't look good to begin with. Don't just go along with
whatever she wants to wear, apply your own critical judgment and work with
her on this. She has very attractive face and figure, but she is clueless.

Specific suggestions:
    1. As someone else mentioned, you and she need to decide the purpose of
this shoot. "Portfolio" isn't enough. Does she want a job modeling
underwear? Does she want to do ads for strip joints or escort services? Does
she want to do "sexy-flirtatious-girl-next-door" toothpaste or dining or
clothing ads? Does she want to be a fashion model and appear in Vogue or one
of those? Every one of the possible venues I have mentioned is a very
different look, and she doesn't fit any of them. Except maybe the strip
joint option, and for that she has on too many clothes.
    2. Either cover the navel, remove the decorative (?) piercing or lose
some portion of the potential audience. I doubt if anybody would not hire
her because she does not show piercings, but many would not hire her if she
does show piercings. It may be common for the 25-and-under crowd, but that
is only one market.
    3. A tube top, a cut-off T-shirt, or a simple elegant nicely pressed
white silk blouse (open enough to stir the imagination) would all be far
more attractive than the horrible knit bikini top she is wearing.
    4. Back to purpose. If she wants to sell her body (please, no comments,
I mean this in the best possible way. Some models sell their face, others
their hands, others their bodies . . .) then she should not cover up the
lower half with unattractive blue jeans. Nice short-shorts would be good. A
bikini bottom would not be good unless she is headed to the porn end of the
market. If she wants to sell her face, then that is what you should be
photographing, and every thing else is a distraction.

On film, try Portra NC as well as the Fuji portrait films mentioned already.

I think you had a very good practice run. Best of luck with the next round!
