Yes, the vibe in the place was all upbeat energy and fun. Everyone's got a day job of course (the SFX make-up guy is a landscaper; the DoP is an IT dude; etc.) and on the weekend and evenings they come together to create art.
Steph is a natural improv comedian. She took everything in stride and was constantly wisecracking, even when the fake blood dried and sealed her eyelids closed. :-/ But they are all focussed and serious. They work _really_ hard, through multiple takes and redos until the results to everyone's satisfaction. I've never spent a better Saturday.
