David, you're not 100% correct. In order to post a for-sale ad on Pentax
Forums you have to be a paying member. Minimal fee, IIRC is USD 20 per year.

Yeah, I looked through eBay yesterday and saw some of those recent
auctions, including a bunch of listings of the screwmount version of
the lens that didn't sell at all. That's one of the reasons I'm
hesitant to sell it. If I can't get enough to afford something I'd use
more often (right now all I could really use is the 12-24), why
bother?
