feature because you're supposed to turn it off when the camera is
mounted on a tripod and it's ridiculously easy to forget to do it
manually.

On the Pentax dslr bodies that have SR, how do you turn the SR on?
By pressing the shutter button partially? Seems like it would need to
have some sort of auto off switch so the batteries won't drain...
