Got power back last night around 6 pm..
stories to follow photos to follow but
in the course of things I managed to wound my right eye
have scratched cornea that happened Thurs night - the one onight I was
staying in powered digs with my BFF and husband . Ironically, on
Roosevelt Island
Don't expect serious disaster photos from me when I resurface
just wanted to tell you guys I was ok, powered up, etc and
soso happy they canceled the marathon - terrible it took them so long.

Glad to hear you survived. "Scratched cornea" sounds serious, but I've
been through it & know it heals even though it hurts like hell. I hope
everything gets better quickly.
