Everyone - I hop on to thank you for your well wishes, but my eye,
although not a serious affliction hurts still and makes it hard to look
at the screen... the right eye is my photo eye.. the left is healthier
but not good on its own.
will surface again when I have photos to share and a couple of
stories

Got power back last night around 6 pm..

in the course of things I managed to wound my right eye
have scratched cornea that happened Thurs night - the one onight I was
staying in powered digs with my BFF and husband . Ironically, on
Roosevelt Island
Don't expect serious disaster photos from me when I resurface
just wanted to tell you guys I was ok, powered up, etc and
soso happy they canceled the marathon - terrible it took them so long.
