Subject: PESO - Stained Glass Window - St. Bridget's Church

This is the "Corpus Christi" window from St. Bridget's Church. It is
one of twelve windows, each representing an event from the liturgical
calendar.

I've returned to the church several times to photograph the windows,
altars, and many, many details. A couple of additional trips may be
necessary, but most of the photography is complete. Now, the effort
of turning the photos into finished work begins. I've started making
a few prints.

This is has been a very very interesting project. The windows, due to
their locations, the lighting and a few other things have been a
learning experience. Before the project I hadn't given much thought
to white balance for the windows. A bit of Tungsten light reflecting
from the frames on the inside, natural light from the outside.

I returned a couple of times to get a photo of each window with
similar outside light. Daylight WB has resulted in the best color
rendition. For the photos, the window colors look best on a clear day
with no direct sunlight.

It's interesting how small changes in exposure effected the color and
detail in the smaller window pieces. Glad I bracketed the exposures.
