I thought it was just some hoity-toity restaurant trying to save
themselves a few pennies by getting the customers to do the sorting for
them.

Thanks for the comment, Rick.

AT home, we simply place all the recycling in a container supplied by
the county, and they take it all and sort it.  The line-up of
recycling containers is in an environmental education center in Duke
Farms, near our home.  I had the same reaction that you did;  they are
making recycling a lot mor difficult than it need be.

Even more, I resent being lectured on environmental responsibility by
a foundation built on tobacco money.

several years ago, participation roughly doubled.
