So I've had way too much time on my hands, and I've been thinking about
the implications of the K-01 being a one off product.
It seems that Ricoh could redeem itself by releasing a K mount module
for the GRX. Yes I know it's been proposed in the past, but now with
Pentax and Ricoh having combined photographic imaging operations it
actually makes sense. It would also overcome the biggest beef that
Pentax users had with the K-01, a lack of viewfinder.
Heck the current price for a GRX base and a K module would be about the
same as the original price for a K-01 assuming that the K module didn't
cost any more than the Leica M module.
It would make a mirrorless body with an additional EVF a viable backup
for K-5 users
Finally Pentax could offer the GRX and the different modules in various
colors, why the possibilities of bad taste in color combinations alone
are endless!

Don't lose heart, they might want to cut it out, and they'll want to avoid a
lengthly search.
