Yes, I agree, this would be great. However, in one of the recent (around Photokina) varous interviews with various Pentax-Rocoh engineers/managers, one of them said that they thought about it but that it did'nt quite fit with the portability of the GX-R concept due to the k-mount register distance needs. My interpretation is that the module resulted too thick to go well with the 'body'. I agree that Boris must have a more informed opinion about this...
