That reminded me an old joke:
At a retail store:
- Do you have toilet paper?
- No, but we have sandpaper.

On a serious note, - I have several cards, even for one body.
Occasionally, I had to multiplex the card from my K-7, and
stick it into a small P&S (Lumix) that I am was using for recording videos
in the class I am teaching.
With different camera brands, it is not a problem, - they write into
different directories. For the same brand, and especially cameras as
generationally close as K-5* and K-7, the situation is different.
So, I would like to plan for contingencies, and set up the naming on the
newer camera to avoid potential conflicts and mixups.

So, - thank you to all who shared their experience and thoughts on the
subject, - they are helpful!

And I know that my K-5 IIs has already arrived to my house.
I hope to have enough time to open the box and see it tonight.
I am going to use it tomorrow night and on the weekend at a tango
festival. That will be a good test for the low-light performance.

Igor
