I couldn't resist the new low price. At $800 or whatever it was, the K-01 was definitely not for me. But less than $350 for a camera that is about as good in low light as the K5? That, plus having family coming to Mexico for the holidays and willing to carry it here for me, drove me over the edge.
$350 buy A LOT of tacos here in Mexico, but I'm hoping that the K-01, plus the DA21 and the focus highlight feature will let me shoot in the street while focusing manually. When I shoot with the K5, because I never got a split prism screen for it, I mostly use the AF button.
