Actually I quite like the taste of bacon. I probably would have liked the taste of your Thanksgiving sprouts a great deal.
I simply choose not to consume bacon (or any other animal product) for reasons I need not bore the list with again. As for the price of your steak, if enough people became vegetarian demand would sink so low that farmers would have to scale back beef production, their costs per unit would rise and your price would go up.
